YOGA IS LIFE

WELCOME

I'm Randa Chehab. After spending more than 25 years on the mat all over the world, I'm able to offer my students a curated yoga experience that meets you exactly where you are.  I specialize in helping people of all walks and seasons reconnect to themselves, regain pain-free mobility, and feel rejuvenated.

They say that yoga ‘polishes the heart.' Join us in class, and let me welcome you with all of mine.

Serene Yoga Studio

Yoga reveals the fundamental truth that we are all worthy. We know this to be true in our bones as we move through the breath and asana, when we are united in mind, body and spirit to the present moment. We know we are worthy. Simply because we exist; simply because we are life and are part of the divine pattern.

~Petri Raisanen

Grow deep roots and an unshakeable foundation

People come to yoga to feel better in their body regardless of what’s going on with it. If you want greater mobility, increase your flexibility/elasticity and strength, and get relief from chronic pain, there's a class for you.

As you unplug from the outside world and learn to take the seat of the observer, you will find yourself becoming less reactive, more proactive, and more easily able to access your own quiet wisdom and presence.

Whether you’re young or old, stiff or limber, all you need is a willingness to show up and be open. Think of yoga as an ongoing experiment where you figure out what works and what doesn't under the guise of a watchful eye.

Randa is the real deal. Her knowledge of and passion for yoga is extensive, and she shares both with precise instruction. An accomplished practitioner, she has experienced injuries that inform her teaching, benefitting her students through compassion (she’s been there) and appropriate adjustments (those magic hands!).

Randa has studied intensively with a number of renowned master teachers to whom she always gives homage. This is not your typical U.S. yoga class! The breath is her music because, contrary to the craze, yoga is not about the playlist.

“I feel into the room with my students. I'm with them, not just barking out a script. I'm the choreographer of what I see that's needed and help them do

I like to say that the pose youre doing right now is your bodys expression of it. The pose will change as you awaken your body and start sensing the subtleties. Its not just gross movements. You can take the shape of the pose, but when youre in that shape, what are you waking up in your limbs, in your abdomen, in your glutes? We’re looking to enliven the tissues and move the energy.

“Randa teaches with specificity, demonstrating her thorough knowledge of the body and allowing me to access the full benefit of each pose. Her class is thoughtful towards the needs of her students and her yoga method truly makes me feel and move 10 years younger than I am. Randa’s class is therapeutic for me as an athlete. I would never miss a class!”
